Ureed.com to Take Part in Virtual Saudi Step Conference

This year’s edition of the Saudi STEP Conference, the leading tech festival for emerging markets taking place on November 24 and 25, is going virtual – and Ureed.com is delighted to take part as an exhibitor.

Hosting a virtual booth and several live chats and sessions, Ureed.com’s moderating team will consist of our CEO Marwan Abdelaziz, COO Rakan AlHassan, Director of Engineering Khaled Kandil, Content Marketing Manager Fadila Safwat, Content Marketing Specialist Nadine Fahmy and PR Specialist Menna Sheba.

Ureed.com will be hosting six live sessions in total, exploring diverse topics related to freelancing, tech, running a business in the time of COVID-19, and how freelancers can help enterprises scale.

The conference will feature 4 content tracks and 100 showcasing startups, with 1,500+ startup founders, investors, digital enthusiasts, creatives and more attending. The content tracks are divided into: Step Start, a home base for startups and entrepreneurs to network with investors; Step Digital, which tackles the latest global trends in the digital ecosystem; Step X, where the future of cities, AI, and autonomous tech meet; and finally, Step Money, which brings together finance experts to discuss the latest in financial technology, digital currencies, payments, and wealth management.

Some of the most anticipated speakers at the conference include Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, CIO of Saudi Aramco Salman T. Jaffrey, Wamda Chairman Fadi Ghandour, and many more.

STEP Saudi initially came together as a celebration of Saudi Arabia’s top innovators, entrepreneurs, digital enthusiasts and creative minds. However, its impacts quickly extended beyond Saudi Arabia to encompass the entire MENA region and its emerging markets, particularly in tech.

Arriving at a time where the future of the tech industry is brimming with potential, yet connection and real-life networking remains out of reach with COVID-19’s second wave at its peak, the conference represents a crucial and hopeful step forward towards bringing together diverse entities in the startup and tech ecosystems.

As for Ureed.com, for which 2020 has been a vital year, with a second seed funding round & a website re-launch, its attendance at the STEP conference is an opportunity to allow more entrepreneurs to access a global talent pool of freelancers safely & with ease.

Ureed.com is honored to be recognized as one of the many tech innovators in the region and to be in attendance at the Saudi STEP conference alongside globally acclaimed companies and multinationals.
